Tribute to the late Angela Fountain

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of our much-loved Co-Director, Angela Fountain, on Thursday 13 July 2023. Angela was not only a fantastic businesswoman, but also a treasured member of our close-knit RBA family. Her dedication and passion were instrumental in shaping our success, and she will be profoundly missed by all of us.

Beyond her professional achievements, Angela was a devoted wife to Martin, loving mother to her four children, Scarlett, William, Ruby, and Holly. Our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to them.

Angela was due to celebrate 30 years with St. James's Place in August, which is a testament to how much she loved the SJP community. Angela started her career in 1998 at Craigforth as an Administrator before moving to Derbyshire, after meeting her husband, Martin. She continued her career on the reception desk of St. James's Place in Nottingham until she secured a role with Rob Brown Associates as a newly qualified Financial Advisor, based on the High Street Uttoxeter. Following Rob and Jane Brown’s retirement in July 2008, Angela went on to become a co-owner of RBA, alongside David Booth and Andrew Hackney, and more recently joint co-owners with Andrew following David’s partial retirement in 2017.

Over time, Angela built long-term relationships with her clients, and by many, was viewed as a family friend as well as a trusted adviser.

We understand that you may have concerns about the continuity of our services and the impact Angela's passing may have on our operations. We want to assure you that our commitment to you remains unwavering. Angela's legacy of strong leadership and guidance will continue to inspire us as we move forward and continue to grow RBA.

At RBA, we have always believed in the strength of our team and the values that unite us. While Angela's absence leaves a huge void in our hearts, we will honor her memory by continuing to provide you with the exceptional service and support that you have come to expect from us.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the office on 01889 568444.

Angela's spirit will forever remain in the fabric of RBA, and we will continue to honor her memory in all our future endeavors.

Thank you for being a valued part of RBA.
