Meet Mary Dorrington – Our Community First Responder for Uttoxeter

We are incredibly proud to introduce Mary Dorrington as our Community First Responder for Uttoxeter. In 80% of all incidents attended, Community First Responders are the first on the scene, often spending an average of 20 crucial minutes alone with a patient before an ambulance arrives. This vital service is a game-changer for our community, providing immediate care when every second counts. At RBA, we are delighted to support this voluntary service by funding Mary’s fuel, ensuring she can continue to reach those in need quickly and efficiently.

Our support for Mary is part of a broader community effort, and we are thrilled to join forces with other fantastic local businesses. Angus MacKinnon Ltd has generously donated a vehicle, Motorkraft Ltd has expertly handled the vehicle conversion, A&B Property maintenance for fitting the defibs in and around Uttoxeter, John Ashmore for all the signage and National Farmers Union Ltd is covering the insurance. Mary’s dedication to this role is a testament to her commitment to the people of Uttoxeter, we have been supporting Mary since 2022 and can clearly see the impact she is having on our community. As Mary embarks on her fundraising efforts, we encourage everyone to support her to keep this invaluable service running strong for our town. Congratulations, Mary—your dedication is deeply appreciated by all of us and the entire Uttoxeter community. 💓
